Valley Community for Recycling Solutions (VCRS) is a non-profit organization devoted to establishing recycling as a part of daily life in the Mat Su Valley region of Alaska. Since 1998 VCRS has provided recycling opportunities for our community; recovered and recycled tons of common household materials; and advocated for waste reduction and recycling best management practices in the Matanuska Susitna Borough.

Our recycling operation is open for drop-off of household materials on
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm;
and Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Our Business Recycling hours are:
Tuesday: 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
